Stellaluna Story Times at Bon Air Library. This program begins with the reading of the popular book about a small fruit bat named Stellaluna who is raised by birds. After the story, the children and the presenter discuss things they learned from the story about the differences between bats and birds. Children will learn about different kinds of bats, what they eat, where they live and the benefits they provide. Live bats are shown including a bat from the United States and an African fruit bat, just like Stellaluna.
